My research focuses on how the corporate sector can contribute to societal wellbeing, and has been funded by both external (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada; Transformative Consumer Research/ACR) and internal grants.
Using a consumer wellbeing lens, I have conducted and published research on:
- Consumer coping with negative service experiences; Service provider responses to negative service experiences
- Consumer use and generation of WOM
- Consumer (dis)empowerment
- Customer commitment
Using a managerial learning lens, I have published research on:
- Managerial sensemaking through metaphors and narrativization.
- Transformative learning
- Perspective-taking
My research in progress focuses on materialism, consumer power, and moral imagination.
