The CIBC STEM Entrance Award deadline is April 13, 2025.
The CIBC STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Entrance Award – valued at $5,000 CAD – is open to full-time undergraduate students entering their first year in any program at Laurier. A total of 15 recipients annually.
Eligible candidates must identify with one or more of the following equity-deserving groups:
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate financial need. Priority will be given to those registered in STEM programs who meet the above criteria.
While STEM program enrollment is a preference, the application will be open to all first-year students. STEM program enrollment will be assessed during the adjudication process.
Note: Award values and total number of awards granted subject to change.
Applications open December 17, 2024.

The CIBC STEM Entrance Award cannot be deferred. Students deferring their offer of admission must reapply during the next application cycle.
