The Faculty of Arts is launching a brand-new accredited co-op program for the 2024/25 academic year. The program is available for specific majors starting fall 2024, with availability for additional majors coming in fall 2025.
Consider applying for co-op if you're interested in integrating workplace experience with your studies. By alternating between classroom and workplace settings, you can apply your knowledge to practical experiences and reflect on what you're learning.
It's also a valuable way to start considering future career options and building your resume in relevant fields while you're a student.

If you'd like a more guided experience abroad, the Arts Study Abroad Program (ASAP) may be the right option for you. Each spring, students are invited to earn 1.0 credit while traveling with their professor for an engaged learning experience.
These faculty-led field courses take you on a unique trip that's focused around a particular topic of study. Check out the options offered each year to find one that fits your interests.
Bring real world learning experiences into your classes by taking advantage of work study programs through our Community and Workplace Partnerships.
These engaged learning opportunities pair you with partner organizations for projects and placements that give you practical experiences to apply what you're learning in class. There are different models of engagement to choose from, depending on the kind of experience you're looking for – from in-class projects to long-term internships.
Your student experience is more than just your studies. The Faculty of Arts has a number of student groups that will help you get to know other students in our faculty and feel connected to our larger community.
