A Degree Designed for You

More than anything, Laurier is a community where we want you to know and feel you belong. It’s a place where you can find your footing, pursue your passions and launch your dream career.

You might have your next 10 years already mapped out or maybe thinking past the next few months is intimidating. Either way, our programs are designed to give you a broad foundation of knowledge in your field before offering you the opportunity to focus in your courses on a particular area of interest. Plus, all our programs give you practical ways of putting your learning to work in the real world, so you can build your resume and test out your newfound skills.

First things first...

1-icon.jpgPick Your Program

With over 100 undergraduate programs spanning 10 different Faculties, we’re excited to help you find a program that’s the perfect fit for both your current strengths and your career aspirations. Already have some college or university experience? Consider transferring to Laurier through one of our 650+ pathways.

You can connect with an academic advisor as soon as you accept your offer (and throughout your degree) for tips, insights and guidance on which courses to take and how to stay on track towards your goals.

After you apply, our Admissions team will review your application and may follow up with an offer.

2-icon.jpgPersonalize It.

You deserve a degree as unique as you are – one that lets you dive deeper into your interests, broaden your perspectives and discover new opportunities. That’s where options, minors and concentrations come in. Through a set of targeted elective courses, you can tailor your academic journey so it’s rewarding both now and in your future career.

Want to go even further? Many of our programs allow you to double major, or even complete two separate degrees over the course of only 5-6 years!

3-icon.jpgGet Real-World Experience.

Take your learning to the next level by gaining hands-on, real-world experience. These opportunities take place on campus and in the community, and can be Faculty-led or dreamt up out of your own initiative. Some of our current Golden Hawks’ favourite ways to apply their learning include:

  • co-op jobs
  • community workplace projects
  • roles on clubs and associations
  • faculty-led research projects
  • field placements
  • international experiences
  • part-time or summer employment
  • residence learning communities
  • volunteer positions
