ICF Credential Levels

The ICF offers multiple levels of certification to support your growth:

  • Associate Certified Coach (ACC)
  • Professional Certified Coach (PCC)

How to Earn the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential

To become an ACC-certified coach, you must complete the following six steps:

  1. Complete 60 hours of ICF-accredited coach education
  2. Complete 10 hours of mentor coaching
  3. Pass the Performance Exam (Part D).
  4. Log 100 hours of practice coaching hours (not included in this program)
  5. Submit your application to ICF.
  6. Pass the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA)
